Another great fun place for an all-family visit. Located along a long stretch of the Pemigewasset River, the Franking Dam reservoir offers loads of activities for its visitors.
Horseback riding, kayaking, exploring the tortuous biking trails, cross country skiing and snowmobiling in winter—you just name it!
However, the place is likely to be most appealing to folks that love fishing.
At the reservoir, you can try and catch a variety of stream water species including largemouth bass, brook trout, smallmouth bass and many more.
4. Dartmouth Skiway, Lyme. NH
And if skiing is your thing, we highly recommend not to miss this excellent ski destination.
The lift-serviced open skiing and snowboarding routes cater for all levels of ability. The 104 acres terrain includes 25% black, 50% blue and 25% green runs.
The facility also offers group and private lessons.
What is more, you’ll also find a beginner-friendly terrain where you can hone your newly acquired skiing skills.
